Introducing…

Scott

Scott Winterberg

Senior Creative / Account Manager / New Business

Since joining Channel in 2008, Scott has unleashed his passion for branding above all else. Always on the lookout for brand-related projects, he loves reinventing old and stale brands to give them new standout. He is also one of our top creative bods, turning client briefs into sparkling design and conjuring up delicious typography and copy. In-between creative projects, Scott loves to let loose his strategic and entrepreneurial streak, managing key accounts and pitching for new business. Outside work, he indulges his obsession with his car, occasionally giving it the thrashing it deserves on the track.

Paul Lewis

Creative Director / Co-Founder / New Business

A co-founder of Channel in 1999, Paul knows design and communications inside out and spends his time steering some of our largest accounts, whilst also resolving the day-to-day issues that crop up for any busy agency. His favourite times at work come when the studio suddenly gets the scope to surprise clients with an ingenious design idea that they have simply not envisaged. When he’s not at work – and as a dad – Paul loves sleeping best of all and spends his rare waking moments enjoying time with his wife and two kids, shopping and watching movies.

Pete Holmes

Senior Creative

A big fish in our creative thinktank, Pete has worked at Channel since 2004, bringing his inestimable artistic aptitudes predominantly to creative briefs and he loves the conundrum of being creative within strict corporate guidelines. While he loves white space, Pete admits to hating terms and conditions while, somewhat conversely, loving lists. True to form, Pete over-indulged this fetish when suggesting his favourite things for this profile, coming up with a hugely long list: his kids, reportage photography, pizza, The Smiths, the sea, red wine, Arsenal FC, pie...

Marc Edwards

Account Director / New Business

With a wealth of experience in the design industry, Marc works his magic on some of our leading accounts and is the cornerstone of new business projects. He’s also a fantastic sounding board for creative direction – always offering insightful perspectives on what will and won’t work – although he much prefers meeting up with clients rather than being deskbound. His readiness to take on über-urgent deadlines makes him a hit with clients, although somewhat conversely, he hates rushed-looking design. In his spare time, he likes to bash his drumkit with his band Legacy and support lost causes like Liverpool FC.

Antony Hawkridge

Creative Artworker

After arriving at Channel in 2010, Antony quickly earned the well-deserved moniker of ‘Point of Sale Machine’ and continues to demonstrate an uncommon ability to stay cool under pressure and get on with the job in hand. A great believer in the power of images to say far more than words alone, he unleashes his artistry mainly on promotional material, producing everything from look-at-me magazine ads to window posters, complete in-store POS events, sales vouchers and customer eshots. Outside work, he loves to go mountain biking, eat out and strum along to Oasis hits.

Dave Addison

Managing Director

Dave founded Channel in 1999, steering the agency to where it is now. With over 35 years’ experience in the business, he knows almost everything there is to know about design and communications, putting him firmly at the ‘guru’ level of industry wisdom. Obsessive about organisation, he is also an attention-to-detail freak, with a dislike for loose ends, untidy desks and sloppy type. He also admits to being a worrier, but his passion for organisation – while never losing sight of the bigger picture – has been key to Channel’s success. When he’s not actually at work, Dave likes to relax by thinking about work.

Adam Bean

Creative Artworker

Adam joined Channel in 2008 and is now a key team player on our busiest account. He also brings his keen eye for design to bear on other accounts and is continually eager to showcase his creativity, even in the most routine of projects. When he’s not applying bucketloads of client amendments, Adam likes nothing more than emptying bucketloads of Haribo sweets while playing Airsoft and PC games. He’s also a lover of modern, non-conformist design.

Harry Haines

Junior Creative Artworker

Since coming on board in 2009, he’s weaned his skills on most of our clients’ work, giving us tantalising glimpses of the inner design genius threatening to burst out. Mad about Scandinavian design and pop art, Harry thinks evil thoughts about people who claim designer status simply because they’ve bought Microsoft Office and 500,000 pieces of clipart!

Louise Stanford

Creative Artworker

Having worked in graphic design for over 10 years and at Channel since 2008, Louise currently focuses her talents largely creating impactful marketing materials. Passionate about design and creativity – she has a special yen for eye-catching packaging, as well as simple, clean and to-the-point graphics – she admits to a shallow propensity to buying products on their looks alone. In her free time, hopeless romantic Louise gives full vent to her girlie tendencies, worshipping shoes, clothes, The X Factor and nights out like demi-gods.
